Alina Shawgo
I’m a junior at Skyview High School in Vancouver, WA. which is a 4A School. As a freshman starter on the varsity team playing OH/OPP. I was the only freshman to make the team. This is my 8th year of playing club volleyball. I have experience playing all position on the court when the team needs it.

2026 New Additions to the Rankings – A first team all-league selection for Skyview, Alina Shawgo is powerful attacking from both pins and has a deft touch as a passer patrolling the middle back on defense. She makes her first entry into the rankings at #31 overall, at 5’10 she has the length and strong hands to cause problems as a blocker. Shawgo will play her 2024 club season for Aspire NW 16 Empire, who kick off a big tournament schedule with the Matt Hartner Memorial in Eugen next weekend.

Shawgo was a dominant right side for Aspire NW 16-1. She puts up a huge block, shutting down lots of outside attackers. With a heavy arm, when she connects with the ball it is booming.

Shawgo is strong at the net, with a powerful arm and a strong block. She has been deadly from the right side for Aspire, blasting kills and making life difficult for opposing attackers.

2-1, Excel NW 17 Lux. Alina Shawgo delivered kills in almost every way possible for her Excel NW team. Hard angle, down the line, hammers off the block; she has all the shots. She even mixed in a bump kill out of the back row versus DVVC 17 in a 2-0 Apex sweep. On the right side, Emma Moffitt was powering swings through and down the front of blockers, she give Apex a strong attacker opposite Shawgo.
